“On May 27th, the show ‘MURI’ is presented at the ‘Rdeči revirji’ Festival in Slovenia.”

Once again, MOTUS, the contemporary dance company directed by Simona Cieri, is on the international scene thanks to its artistic research. This coherent approach passes seamlessly from old to new generations, maintaining the precise goal of identifying a gesture language able to describe the contemporary world and its issues.
The company presents the show ‘MURI’ in Slovenia from May 26 to 28. This production, supported by the Tuscany Region, directed by Rosanna and Simona Cieri and choreography by Martina Agricoli, with Mattia Solano, Roberta Morello, and Martina Agricoli, is about violence against women. The show tackles the highly relevant issue of domestic violence, which has exponentially increased over the last years during the pandemic, coinciding with an increase of help requests to anti-violence centers worldwide due to the restrictions imposed by the health emergency.
The show is presented at the ‘Delavski Dom’ theater in Hrastnik, Slovenia, as part of the International Festival ‘Rdeči revirji.’ The festival is organized by VITKAR Institute, KRC Hrastnik, Youth Center Hrastnik, Youth Center Zagorje, Institute for Youth and Sports Trbovlje, and Workers’ Home Trbovlje.
The goal of the festival, now in its 21st edition, is to promote cooperation and connection among artists, providing new experiences and insights. It aims to stimulate in-depth discussions on artistic creations and encourage socialization among local and international artists.
