In “Sei nell’anima” cast, a film by Cinzia TH Torrini, there’s also MOTUS, dance Company headed by Simona Cieri: the film is produced by Indiana Production, recently available on Netflix, and sees the protagonist interpreted by Letizia Toni with Andrea Delogu, Selene Caramazza, Maurizio Lombardi and Stefano Rossi Giordani.
The film tells about Gianna Nannini life and artistic journey from her childhood, then exploring the roots of her career to reach the highest point as an iconic figure.
The scenes about the singer’s youth view the partecipation of MOTUS Company dancers Martina Agricoli, Paloma Biagioli, Giovanni Consoli, Roberta Morello and Mattia Solano that play an avant-gard theatre group on Simona Cieri choreography. The scenes are set in the 80s and they’ve been recorded in summer 2023 at Certosa di Berliguardo, Nannini’s family villa.
“When the production of the film contacted us, asking to participate in the filming with a choreography freely inspired by the 80s avant-gard theatre, I immediately accepted the challenge. It was a great experience and it was a great pleasure to collaborate with the director Cinzia TH Torrini, a great professional,” says Simona Cieri.
