AUDITION
Professional Advancement Courses for Dancers
Ortona (Italy) – August, 7, 2025 – 5:00 pm
Audition is addressed to young dancers (Italian or foreigners), who have acquired a strong knowledge of classical and / or contemporary dance and who have reached the age of eighteen.
Dancer who are interested to take part to the auditions, must send their application to mail info@motusdanza.it , indicating in the subject of the e-mail “Professional Advancement Courses Audition” within August, 3, 2025.
The application must contain the following materials:
- curriculum vitae
- photo
- motivational letter (also in the form of an e-mail)
- link to a short video of an improvisation (maximum duration: 4 minutes), realized in any setting (dance studio, indoor or outdoor spaces, etc.). The video must be shot with fixed camera and must not be edited.
A pre-selection phase, on the basis of the provided materials, is foreseen.
The audition will take place in Ortona (Italy) at the Spazio ZooArt (Passeggiata Orientale, 25) in the Cage 1 in the frame of the festival “Donn.è entra in gabbia” realized by Associazione Donn.è.
Candidates may be awarded with total or partial scholarships.
The Professional Advancement Courses for Dancers are aimed to an eventual inclusion in the staff of the MOTUS Company. The Courses, directed by Simona Cieri, foresee daily lessons at the Centro Internazionale d’Arte in Siena (Italy). The lessons will allow participants to learn and practice the original S. Cieri method and the particular style of the MOTUS Company.
