The show “IN-FLUSSI” restaged in Siena

On June, 7 at Rozzi Theatre (Siena) 4 continents, 14 states and many young talents on the stage

The show“IN-FLUSSI” restaged in Siena

After the great success achieved on May, 18 at the Alfieri Municipal Theatre  in Castelnuovo Berardenga, the show “IN-FLUSSI” will be restaged on June, 7, at 9:15 P.M. at Rozzi Theatre (Siena).

“IN-FLUSSI”is a MOTUS production, realized by young people from Azerbaijan, Burkina Faso, Chile, China, Columbia, Gabon, japan, Guinea, Italy, Nigeria, Pakistan, Russia, Senegal, Turkey. Those young people had no experience in dance or theatre, but thanks to the Project “IN-FLUSSI”, they attended a 7 months workshop (from December 2018 to June 2019) realized by MOTUS. The project is funded by Tuscany Region and by the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies and is realized by MOTUS in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, University for Foreigners of Siena, Visionaria, Arcisolidarietà Provinciale Siena and Oxfam Italia Intercultura.

The Project IN-FLUSSI, from which the show takes the name, is aimed to create spaces for sharing and exchange, to raise awareness on the value of the differences, assuming that, in the huge sea of cultures, there are no one-way flows.

The  show bring on the stage meetings between different people who share a unique and equal humanity. IN-FLUSSI is performed by Aichatou Cherif, Jacopo Desiato, Ilaria Fratantuono, Yao Huang, Elvira Ismagilova, Friki Keita, Cinzia Licursi, Roberta Morello, Felisia Nicoletti, Roland Nzembi, Tatiana Salazar, Andrea Cecilia Searle, Rahman Shah, Mattia Solano, on choreography by Simona Cieri and directed by Rosanna and Simona Cieri.

Following, “The future is served” (choreography by Simona Cieri), the show concluding the academic year of Centro Internazionale d’Arte, home of the MOTUS Company, founded in Siena in 2000 by Simona Cieri.

This year, the Centro Internazionale d’Arte celebrates the end of the academic year with a show dealing with the theme of nutrition. Today in the world, there is a billion of people suffering hunger and risking die for lack of food,while a billion and two hundred millions of people are obeses or overweight, suffering diseases caused by excessive consumptiom of food of bad quality. The show is performed by the young dancers attending the Centro Internazionale d’Arte, wearing the imaginative costumes designed by Mirko Bolognesi. “The future is served” delivers a message that needs to be heard:  if we want to live healthy, in a world free from pollution, respecting the environmemt and the next generations, it is necessary to modify ours habits, first of all our diet . Because, in the end,we are what we eat.
