Deadline: 10 February 
MOTUS, international contemporary dance Company based in Siena (Italy) and supported by the Tuscany Region, is seeking 2 young choreographers (under 35 years of age) for the 2026 edition of the Move Off Festival.
The selected works will be included in the program of the Move Off Festival, managed by the MOTUS Company at the Municipal Theatre Vittorio Alfieri in Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena, Italy) during spring 2026 (April-May).
Requirements
- age of the choreographer: between 18 and 35 years of age
- maximum duration of the choreography: 20 minutes
- maximum number of dancers on stage: 2
- choreographic works in which the body language is aimed to express a content will be preferred
How to participate
Applicants should submit a project containing the following information:
- title of the proposed show
- description of the show
- name, contacts and short CV of the choreographer
- link to the full video of the proposed show
- photos
- technical requirements

Conditions
MOTUS assures to the selected artists:
- food and accommodation for up to 2 people
- local transport for up to 2 people
- minimum fee and social charges on the day of the show
- technical service
- organization
- press office and promotion
Selection criteria
The submitted works will be selected by the Move Off 2026 Commission on the basis of the following criteria:
- Originality of the choreographic work
- Subject of the choreographic work
- Communication effectiveness
The results of the selection will be communicated within February 2026.
