To the Sannazaro Theatre the first two days of July was on scene the Motus Company of Siena that proposed ‘Rendez-vous’……..The central theme (and centered by the seven dancers)is the paradoxical incommunicability in an epoch of great resources of media. An ironic and grotesque look on the world in the era of internet………..The distance between real and virtual, the flowing of existences in which the necessity to communicate is vital but unexpressed (stopped in individual layings now broken, now aching or disjointed) with a gestural language (almost always in solo with few choral moments where the movements are identical for everybody) that it looks for the contact but almost as confirmation of oneself and not as opening of the subjective dimension………..Then the bodies draw missed occasions, rapid and transient approaches, a modernity dazed from a myriad of visual stimuli that doesn’t succeed in speaking, aphasic and alone. ………….. We have appreciated together with the public the matter dealt with eloquence and the contemporary and original dictionary and the energetic company that during the whole show has held a tall rhythm without never losing the expression and quality of the gesture.
