‘Bosnia Herzegovina, a near memory’. This is the subject of the public meeting, promoted by the Historical Institute of Siena Resistance, that will take place on wednesday (14 March) at 17,00 o’clock, to the Memory Rooms. The prof.Luciano Li Causi of Siena University will introduce the debate that aims, beginning from some experiences of people from Siena, to shed light on a war that has upset the social and economic fabric of a territory so much near to Italy.
We will speak about war, but also how overcome the actual difficulties that still contrast today Bosnian Moslems to Bosnian Serbs and Croatians. The experiences of MOTUS Company, Siena University, and those of two people that by bicycle have crossed the Bosnia, will accompany us in a reflection that wants to analyze the past to look at the future.
