Second<\/em> appointment of “Move Off”\u00a0 International Festival of Contemporary Dance<\/em><\/p>\n

organized<\/em>\u00a0by MOTUS<\/em> in collaboration with Castelnuovo Berardenga City Council<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

A show for teenagers, children and adults, which enchants, tells and amuses, is hosted on May 5 at 21.15 as a part of the “Move Off”\u00a0 Festival organized by MOTUS in collaboration with Castelnuovo Berardenga City Council.<\/p>\n

Produceded by the Atacama Company\u00a0 (based in Rome) with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture\u00a0 and the Lazio Region,\u00a0 the show is inspired by one of the best known European fairy tales . Patrizia Cavola and Ivan Truol, choreographers of the AtacamaCompany,\u00a0 explore the contrast between the bright and safe world of the village and the dark and insidious forest through the choreography performed by Valeria Loprieno, Cristina Meloro, Camilla Perugini, on the original music by Epsilon Indi and\u00a0 voice by Alessandro Fabrizi.<\/p>\n

Thus entering the woods becomes a metaphor for the path that each individual should face as part of maturation process, abandoning the security of childhood and becoming an adult. Passing through the wood, meeting the wolf, disobeying, opening up to the possibilities that arise from traveling other paths, wandering along unknown and interrupted paths, proceeding towards the goal of the unveiling of the self through a continuous diversion, an irreducible wandering. Going into the wood for life to begin.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The second part of the event hosts\u00a0 the show \u201cFITTING\u201d- winner of the call ” Move Off for Young Choreographers 2023\u201c,\u00a0 selected also for the\u201d Showcase of the young dance authors 2022 | Net Anticorpi”<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201d FITTING”, choreographed and performed by Nicholas Baffoni and Camilla Perugini, with music by H\u00e4ndel, tells a story of relationships that literally pass through the shoes, as a means to cross their own feelings and those of the others. Shoes, in their form, function and estetics speak to us about the world,\u00a0 the movements, the intentions, the migrations and\u00a0 the journey. A game of empathy, which moves spatially in defined points of the scene with\u00a0 unknow ending.<\/p>\n
