The first event in 2019 of the \u201cAperitivi in danza\u201d Festival, organized by MOTUS at the Centro Internazionale d\u2019Arte in Siena (San Prospero, Via Mencattelli 5\/7) hosts two premieres not to be missed.<\/p>\n

On Friday, January, 18th at 8:30 pm, the evening will begin with the opening of the exhibition \u201cGraffi\u201d by Paolo Andruccioli, a selection of drawings made with sanguine, addressing the theme of movements, in which the artist portrays the body as matter in progress, becoming increasly pure essence.<\/p>\n

Andruccioli is a journalist passionate about art, who worked for different years with the newspaper \u201cil Manifesto\u201d, of which he was also editor in chief. He worked with different Italian newspapers and was responsible for the “Redattore Social”, a national agency on Third Sector issues. He wrote books about trade union history and ethical finance, he currently curates the CGIL morning paper, works at Radio Articolo1 and collaborates with Rassegna Sindacale. Driven by his love for the figurative arts, he attended drawing and engraving courses and draws experimenting with various techniques: oils, acrylics, watercolors, pencil, sanguine and pastels.<\/p>\n

After the exhibition “Nel frattempo” recently presented in Rome, Andruccioli arrives at the Centro Internazionale d’Arte in Siena with “Graffi”, venturing into the world of body language, of which he gives his own personal interpretation.<\/p>\n

A tribute to the gestural language that is the protagonist of the second part of the event, when the MOTUS Company will present “Intrusioni”, a short taste of the Company’s latest production, “ETYMOS”, created with the support of Regione Toscana and co-produced by the Fondazione Orizzonti d’Arte Foundation, scheduled for the 8th of February in the season of Teatro dei Rinnovati. The show is choreographed by Simona Cieri, with direction by Rosanna and Simona Cieri, and is performed by Martina Agricoli, Andr\u00e9 Alma, Ilaria Fratantuono, Roberta Morello and Mattia Solano.<\/p>\n

During the event, a buffet will be offered, to encourage the meeting between the artists and the public.<\/p>\n
