The third appointment of the 2022 edition of the international contemporary dance festival at the Alfieri Municipal Theatre in Castelnuovo Berardenga<\/em><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The last event of the Spring edition of the fourteenth “Move Off” Contemporary Dance Festival, organized by MOTUS in collaboration with the Municipality of Castelnuovo Berardenga, with the support of ChiantiBanca, is dedicated to the complexity of feelings.<\/p>\n

On May 31st at 9.30 pm the Vittorio Alfieri Municipal Theater will host the the show “Fisiognomica” by the Petranuradanza company, produced by Megakles Ballet with the support of Ministero dei Beni e delle Attivit\u00e0 Culturali and of Assessorato Turismo Sport Spettacolo Regione Sicilia, and a \u201cWork in progress\u201d of the new production of the MOTUS Company, produced with the support of the Tuscany Region.<\/p>\n

The Sicilian company Petranuradanza presents \u201cFisiognomica\u201d, a show inspired by Leonardo da Vinci, choreographed by Salvatore Romania and Laura Odierna, associated artists for the 2022-2024 period\u00a0 at the Centro Nazionale di produzione danza Scenario Pubblico\/Compagnia Zappal\u00e0 danza.<\/p>\n

Leonardo Da Vinci is considered the founder of modern physiognomy. In his works, the expression of the faces, the gestures and the positions of the body are the visible consequence of the soul movements. A portrait becomes an open door on the soul and colors and brushstrokes become a code of understanding of our self, drawing on canvas a message to understand. The artist penetrates into reality, revealing its secrets, giving our gaze the time needed to reach the depth. In “Physiognomy”, dance becomes a dynamic and processual relationship, oscillating between the visible and the invisible. The thousand faces, and the thousand different moods that inspire them, in a sequence of different moments on each face, are interpreted by Francesco Bax, Sonia Mingo, Arabella Scalisi and by Salvatore Romania himself.<\/p>\n

The MOTUS Company, instead, presents a \u201cWork in progress\u201d, a taste of the new production of the Company, directed by Rosanna and Simona Cieri, choreographed by Simona Cieri and performed by the dancers Martina Agricoli, Ilaria Fratantuono, Roberta Morello, Gian Maria Picciau and Mattia Solano. The work addresses, through the peculiar choreographic style of the Company, the topical theme of transparency of information and the role of information in guiding the public opinion.<\/p>\n
