On 19 and 20 March the civil dance of the MOTUS Company at the Bellarte Theatre in Turin<\/em><\/strong><\/h4>\n

On Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 March, at 7 p.m., the Teatro Bellarte (Via Ludovico Bellardi 116, Turin) hosts the Regional Premiere of the show “Interferenze” by the MOTUS Company, the first choreographic work of Martina Agricoli, winner of the award “Selezione dei Visionari per la danza 2020”. The event is included in the 2021-2022 season of the Fertili Terreni Teatro network.<\/p>\n


The work analyses the socio-political implications of language, taking its cue from the concept of “interference” which, in physics, indicates the interaction between two or more different waves. In the political sphere, the same term indicates the abuse of power by an authority towards tasks that are not its own, while in linguistics it indicates the superimposition of a new meaning on the original one.<\/p>\n

Interference is thus also a process that causes words to vary in meaning, reflecting in language the changes of society.<\/p>\n

The MOTUS show focuses on these themes and on the political value of language, through which relationships are established between things and, above all, between people, underlining the need for individual and collective awareness. The show, with choreography by Martina Agricoli and direction by Rosanna and Simona Cieri, is performed by Alberto Chignoli, Riccardo De Simone, Ilaria Fratantuono, Roberta Morello, Mattia Solano and Martina Agricoli herself.<\/p>\n
