\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

On Thursday 11th of July, at 9.30 pm, at the Museo Etnografico del Bosco,\u00a0the show “INTERFERENZE” of the MOTUS Company opens the dance section of the program of events “Sovicille d’Estate 2019”, organized by the Municipality of Sovicille in collaboration with Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo Onlus and supported by Banca CRAS and Coop Centro Italia.<\/p>\n

The show “Interferenze”, new production of the MOTUS Company realized with the support of the Tuscany Region, is the first work of the choreographer Martina Agricoli, historical dancer of the Company. The work analyzes the socio-political\u00a0consequences of language, taking inspiration from the concept of “interference” which, in physics, indicates the interaction between two or more different waves. In the political terminology the same word indicates the abuse of power of an authority in a particular field, while in linguistics, “interference” indicates the overlap of a new meaning of a word among the original one.<\/p>\n

Therefore, through the mechanism of interference each language changes and, as such, it reflects the changes occurring in the society. The show “Interferenze” focuses on these themes, analyzing the political value of language, through which relations are established between things and between individuals, emphasizing the need for an individual and collective awareness.<\/p>\n

“Interferenze” is performed by Andr\u00e9 Alma, Filippo Di Crosta, Ilaria Fratantuono, Roberta Morello, Mattia Solano and Martina Agricoli.<\/p>\n
