{"id":3156,"date":"2017-07-07T18:09:22","date_gmt":"2017-07-07T17:09:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/?p=3156\/"},"modified":"2017-07-07T18:09:22","modified_gmt":"2017-07-07T17:09:22","slug":"14-june-at-rozzi-theatre-young-dancer-defense-of-the-planet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/en\/news-en\/14-june-at-rozzi-theatre-young-dancer-defense-of-the-planet\/","title":{"rendered":"On 14 June at Rozzi Theatre young dancer in defense of the planet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><em>On 14 June 2017 an international event at Rozzi Theatre<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/LAU_7834.jpg\" data-lightbox=\"gal[3156]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3158\" src=\"http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/LAU_7834-1024x682.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"630\" height=\"420\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/LAU_7834-1024x682.jpg 1024w, http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/LAU_7834-300x200.jpg 300w, http:\/\/www.motusdanza.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/LAU_7834-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The EUROPA -ASIA Project, including exchanges and meetings with Asian culture, organized in Siena thanks to the international collaboration of the MOTUS Company with Singaporean artists and institutions and thanks to the support of the Sezione Soci Siena of Unicoop Firenze and of the International Art Council of Singapore.<\/p>\n<p>The project EUROPA -ASIA\u00a0\u00a0between the MOTUS Company and the Odyssey Dance Theater (ODT) from\u00a0Singapore, directed by Dr. Danny Tan, is a long lasting project.<\/p>\n<p>During the years, the MOTUS Company presented its work in Asia receiving several appreciations from critics and audience and the Odyssey Dance Theater has been invited several times to present its work in Siena and other Italian cities with very good feedbacks.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the Odyssey Dance Theater will premiere \u00a0&#8220;My Figures&#8221;, a work inspired from the celebration of beauty, portrayed through the bivalent use of the human body (choreography and dance by the young Calvin Goh and music by Kevin MacLeod).<\/p>\n<p>MOTUS will present &#8220;Culture&#8221;, an extract from the new show of the Company, realized in the frame of the production project supported by the Tuscany Region (choreography by Simona Cieri, direction by Rosanna Cieri, dancers: Veronica Abate, Martina Agricoli, Andr\u00e8 Alma, Simona Gori, Mattia Solano). The final version of the show will be presented in Germany on June 17th.<\/p>\n<p>After these two performances, the students of the International Art Center of Siena, together with some young dancers from Castelnuovo Berardenga, who attended an\u00a0intensive stage at the International Art Center, will dance &#8220;WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD&#8221;, a work choreographed by Simona Cieri and enriched by interactive video projections, which wants to launch an appeal in defense of our planet, a unique value to be protected and left to future generations.<\/p>\n<p>The show will start at 21.15.<br
