THE GIFT OF TIME
“These things are a gift of time. For this reason, instead of being afraid of it, we would need to venerate it. It is not an enemy of our most beautiful joys, and every day it can reserve us a surprise. Maybe, one morning, time will give back us, even increased, the thousand freedoms that we lost with the childhood.” (Angeles Mastretta: Puerto Libre)
In a society that gets older, a theatre work dedicated to no more young people , where the old age is seen as a moment of return to the freedom of childhood. An ironic and amusing work, that does not forget the analysis of the social aspects bound to the removal from the productive cycle, to the solitude, to the illness.
